Dancing takes place under the rules of the Scottish Official Board of Highland Dancing (S.O.B.H.D.), and dancers must present their S.O.B.H.D. registration card in order to receive their dance number. Age groups are determined by entries received.
Mail entries can be accepted and they should be postmarked by the date specified in the entry form. A maximum of 300 entries can be accommodated.
Online registration opens at midnight on April 18, 2019.
Closing date for online entries is midnight, June 14, 2019 – ONLINE REGISTRATION HAS CLOSED FOR 2019

Late entries will be accepted, although a penalty of $20 per family will apply. We cannot accept entries on the grounds the day of the competition.
Designated area for tents
Pre-premier competition begins after opening ceremonies, which will be at 9:00 a.m. Intermediate and Premier dancers to be ready to dance at 11:00 a.m. Proof of age on demand, age as of July 1st 2019. Fee and S.O.B.H.D. Reg # must accompany the entry. No dance entries accepted on the grounds. No phone entries accepted. Last day for status change is June 24th 2019. Call Laura Green at 519-475-6287. mportant: No status (category) changes will be accepted the day of the competition.
Flat fee registration: Primary $22.00, Beginner/Novice $27.00, Intermediate/Premier $32.00. Fee’s include $1.00 for 2019 SDCCS Surcharge and $1.00 for postage and handling of the dancer’s gate pass. Dancers must present their S.O.B.H.D. Reg. Card in order to receive their dance number. Dancing takes place under the rules of S.O.B.H.D. The decision of the judge is final. No discussion or correspondence can be entered into between a judge and a competitor or the parent or guardian regarding a judge’s decision. All verbal announcements will take precedence over the written program.

In compliance with ScotDance requirements, designated change rooms have been made available and are located in the Community Centre – follow signage.
Pre-Premier awards will be presented during the lunch break. Trophies will be given in each Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Premier age group. Prize money for Adult Premier: $50, $40, $30, $20, $15 and $10.
